Seattle-based digital media company RealNetworks is integrating its music assets -- including RealPlayer, RealPlayer Music Store, RadioPass, and the Rhapsody subscription service -- into a single business unit. The new entity will be called the RealPlayer and music division.

The unit will function under Robert Acker, who has serves as VP of the company's RealPlayer business since earlier this year. Acker, a founding member of the XM Satellite Radio team, will continue to report to chief strategy officer Richard Wolpert.

Additionally, VP of music services Sean Ryan will exit this month to pursue other business opportunities.

Niranjan Nagar, a key member of the original Listen.com executive team, has been named GM of Music Services. Reporting to Acker, he will oversee day-to-day operations at the RealPlayer Music Store and Rhapsody.
