Several Nashville-based staffers at EMI CMG Label Group, the Christian music arm of EMI, have assumed new posts.

After nine years with the company, Nick Barre is promoted from director to VP of artist development. Barre will lead four artist-development teams and EMI CMG's creative services.

Leigh Ann Hardie, former VP of artist development, has been named to the new post of VP of strategic initiatives. Hardie has been with the company 11 years.

Barre and Hardie report to EMI CMG president Peter York.

Additionally, Michael Bianchi and Sarah Richmond have been promoted from managers to directors of artist development, reporting to Barre.

EMI CMG Label Group comprises the Forefront, Sparrow and worshiptogether labels. The company's roster includes Steven Curtis Chapman, Switchfoot, Avalon and tobyMac.
