Warner Music International (WMI) has appointed Ric Salmon to the new post as VP of A&R. Salmon joins the London-based company following a four-year stint as A&R manager at British dance music brand Ministry of Sound (MoS).

Salmon reports to WMI chairman/CEO Paul-Rene Albertini and will work closely with John Reid, WMI executive VP of marketing.

"I am confident that Ric will become one of the major voices of WMI in A&R with a view to exploiting our strong current international repertoire, and facilitating further cross-border successes," comments Albertini in a statement.
