Sony BMG Music Entertainment and Wind-up Records have extended their international licensing agreement.

Sony Music Entertainment has had an international licensing deal with New York-based Wind-up since 1998. Under the extended arrangement, Sony BMG will continue to distribute, market and promote releases from the label outside of North America.

Sony BMG Sales Enterprise will continue to distribute Wind-up in the United States; BMG Distribution has handled U.S. distribution for the label since the latter was founded in 1997.

Wind-up acts include Evanescence, Creed, Finger 11, Seether, Scott Stapp and Alter Bridge.
