Foxx is no stranger to music. Earlier this year, he and Kanye West were featured on Twista's No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 single "Slow Jamz." Foxx's debut album, "Peep This," released in 1994 on Fox/RCA Records, peaked at No. 78 on The Billboard 200 chart. That year, his single, "Infatuation," reached No. 92 on The Billboard Hot 100.

Foxx has recently been getting Oscar-nomination buzz for his portrayal of Ray Charles in the Universal Pictures biopic "Ray," set to open Oct. 29 in U.S. theaters. Foxx recently hosted the all-star concert special "Genius: A Night for Ray Charles," which CBS will air Oct. 22.
