Additional dates have been confirmed for Kylie Minogue's forthcoming tour of the United Kingdom after more than 100,000 tickets shifted within hours of going on sale yesterday (Oct. 18).

Tour promoter 3A says the tickets sold out within two hours, eclipsing the pace of ticket sales for the Aussie pop singer's 2002 "Fever" tour.

The 2005 tour, dubbed "Kylie - Showgirl; the Greatest Hits Tour," will be her biggest to date, according to her record company EMI. The U.K. leg will begin March 19 at the SECC in Glascow, Scotland, before moving on to the Birmingham NEC and the Manchester Arena. London's Earls Court venue will host the final British performance May 4, before the tour moves on to Continental Europe. EMI today confirmed extra dates for Manchester, Birmingham and London, bringing the total number of U.K. performances to 13.

Minogue's greatest hits double CD "Ultimate Kylie" is released Nov. 22 in Britain through Parlophone. It precedes the Dec. 6 single "I Believe In You", which she co- wrote with Jake Shears and Babydaddy from the Scissor Sisters.
