Parisian rock outfit Phoenix will kick off its first U.S. headlining tour Nov. 29 in Philadelphia.

The band will play nine dates through Dec. 13 in San Diego.

CAA/Marlene Tshuchii is promoting the tour, which follows a string of more than 80 recent performances throughout Europe and Japan.

The band's sophomore English-language album, "Alphabetical," has shipped 150,000 units worldwide since its March 29 release in continental Europe on Source/Virgin, according to the label. About 20,000 copies have shipped in the United States, where it was released Aug. 27 by Astralwerks.

Phoenix's 2000 debut album, "United," shipped more than 150,000 units worldwide, according to Virgin France.

Astralwerks will digitally release the 10-track live album "Thirty Days Ago" on Nov. 30. A CD version is set for release in the United States on Feb. 22, 2005.
