Paul Taylor has been named CEO of Jetix Europe N.V., the pan-European integrated children's entertainment company formerly known as Fox Kids Europe. He will report to the supervisory board of the company, whose majority shareholder is the Walt Disney Co.

Taylor became interim CEO in July. Prior to that appointment, he was responsible for all aspects of channel operations throughout Europe and the Middle East. He also oversaw the Jetix pan-European advertising sales operations.

Taylor joined Fox Kids Europe in March 2003 as group managing director/executive VP. He was previously GM of movies and pay-per-view for British Sky Broadcasting, where he ran the Sky Movies and Sky Box Office channels.

Jetix Europe comprises 13 channels, which reach more than 37 million households in 58 countries across Europe and the Middle East, as well as Jetix Europe Programme Distribution, Jetix Online and Jetix Consumer Products.
