Rock act Evanescence and country singer Keith Urban are the latest performers added to the lineup of next week's Billboard Music Awards. Urban will be joined during his performance by singer/songwriter Sheryl Crow during the Dec. 8 event, which will air live on Fox from Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena.
They join a bill that includes previously confirmed performances by Gwen Stefani, Usher, Nelly and Green Day. The event will be emceed by "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest.
Pop superstar Britney Spears will also be on hand to make a special appearance, as will OutKast's Big Boi, Kanye West, Maroon 5, Hoobastank, Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz, Petey Pablo, Three Days Grace, Ciara, Earth, Wind & Fire and Gloria Estefan.
Additionally, the cast of Fox sketch comedy series "MADtv" will be seen in spoof segments dubbed "Billboard Request Live" throughout the show. Viewers can expect comical impersonations of such celebrities as Ja Rule, Ludacris, Anna Nicole Smith and Clay Aiken, among others.
As reported Monday, Usher and Alicia keys lead the list of finalists, appearing in 13 and 12 categories, respectively. Other multiple finalists include Maroon5, OutKast, West, R. Kelly, Gretchen Wilson, Hoobastank and Jay-Z.

Additionally, Stevie Wonder will receive Billboard's Century Award, the magazine's highest honor for creative achievement, at the ceremony.
