The two-disc Rolling Stones compilation "Forty Licks" will shift to ABKCO Records on Feb. 15.

The title, a joint venture between ABKCO and Virgin, has been issued through Virgin/EMI Music Marketing since its debut in October 2002. Under the terms of the venture, the set now reverts to the ABKCO catalog in perpetuity. Under its new label, "Forty Licks" will be distributed by Universal Music & Video Distribution.

"Forty Licks" contains one disc of ABKCO-controlled early Stones material, including the group's first U.S. chart single, a 1964 cover of Buddy Holly's "Not Fade Away." The second disc features songs from Virgin, which has rights to Stones material since 1970.

The compilation, which debuted at No. 2 on The Billboard 200, has sold 2.4 million units in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan.
