EMI Christian Music Group Publishing in Brentwood, Tenn., has extended Eddie DeGarmo's contract as president. In addition, the company has acquired Meaux Music Publishing, which DeGarmo founded in 2000.

DeGarmo joined EMI CMG Publishing three years ago; the company has administered the Meaux catalog since April 2002.

Meaux's roster of writers and producers includes Tedd (Tedd T) Tjornhom, Marc Byrd, Christine Byrd, Michael Anthony Taylor, Pete Stewart, Antonio Phelon, Shannon Ford, Robert Marvin and new Teleprompt/Warner artist Mute Math. Meaux songs have been recorded by Third Day, TobyMac, Stacie Orrico, Rebecca St. James, John Tesh, Avalon and others.

Terms of DeGarmo's new contract were not revealed. The executive reports to EMI Christian Music Group president/CEO Bill Hearn.
