NBC Universal and the American Red Cross have partnered for the Jan. 15 live broadcast of "Tsunami Aid: a Concert of Hope." Madonna, Stevie Wonder, Maroon 5, Lenny Kravitz, Norah Jones, John Mayer and Kenny Chesney are just a few of the scheduled performers.

The concert will benefit a two-phase assistance plan by the American Red Cross, which aims to provide immediate and long-term relief to areas ravaged by the Dec. 26 tsunami. The effort will focus on food and water, healthcare and disease prevention, mental health counseling and disaster preparedness.

The Telemundo and PAX networks will join all NBC Universal cable channels in airing the special, during which viewers can make donations through the American Red Cross International Response Fund hotline. Donations can also be made through the organization's Web site.
