Warner Music Group has inked a deal with, Legion Records, a new Chicago-based label started by rap act Do or Die. Legion will be distributed through WEA and will have access to the marketing and promotion departments of Atlantic Records.

Do or Die will issue a new self-titled album Feb. 1. The set will feature production by Kanye West and DJ Quik, among others.

Do or Die was previously signed to Rap-A-Lot, for which they released two gold albums: 1996's "Picture This" and 1998's "Headz or Tailz."

The act helped launch the career of fellow Windy City rapper Twista, who was featured on the 1996 single "Po Pimp," which reached No. 22 on The Billboard Hot 100.
