In an effort to better reach its Latin costumer base and more effectively market its products, Universal Music & Video Distribution is launching a Spanish-language business-to-business Web site.

MundoUniversal.com will go live Jan. 12 and will be available to music and video retailers in the United States and Puerto Rico.

MundoUniversal.com will push all UMVD Latin product, catalog data and release information. It also includes Latin-only content not found on UMVD.com, such as radio airplay information, Latin
bestsellers by genre and a Latin independent bestsellers chart. All other UMVD.com content will also be available on MundoUniversal.com, but will be in English.
