Veteran lawyer to head N.Y. music practice.
Entertainment attorney Paul Schindler is joining international law firm Greenberg Traurig. He becomes chairman of the firm's New York music practice and a member of the international entertainment practice.
Schindler resigned last month as a founding partner of New York firm Grubman, Indusrsky & Schindler, where he practiced for more than 30 years.
In his new role, he joins entertainment attorneys Joel Katz, chairman of Greenberg Traurig's global entertainment practice based in Atlanta, and Jay Cooper, chairman of the firm's Los Angeles music practice.
Schindler -- who has represented numerous award-winning music artists, producers, record labels and entertainment companies -- also serves on the executive committees of the Grammy Foundation’s Entertainment Law Initiative, Lifebeat, TJ Martell Foundation, Nordoff Robbins and City of Hope.
