Queen's three-CD anthology moved past the 3 million shipments milestone, according to IFPI Platinum Europe certifications for January. The band's "Platinum Collection" (EMI) was the only multi-platinum album during the month.

Queen guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor recently reunited the band for an international tour, with former Free and Bad Company frontman Paul Rodgers replacing the late Freddy Mercury on vocals. The first European date kicks off March 28 at the Brixton Academy in London.

Also during January, three albums registered Platinum Europe status for the first time: British pop singer Natasha Bedingfield's debut set, "Unwritten" (Sony BMG); French artist Calgero's third release, "3" (Universal); and Seal's "Best: 1991-2004" (Warner Music).
