The dust is starting to settle on one of the more impressive on-sales in concert history. U2 has now sold out -- quickly -- 28 North American shows for a total gross of $47 million and 470,000 tickets. In Europe, the band has sold out 19 stadium shows, for a gross of $94 million and 1.05 million tickets. The balance of 11 European shows will go on sale over the next 10 days.

The tour begins March 28-30 in San Diego; the U.S. leg wraps May 24-28 in Boston. The European dates begin June 10 in Brussels and wrap Aug. 14 in Lisbon.

It is believed U2 will come back to the U.S. in late August for more dates through November. The tour is produced worldwide by TNA International.
