Former pro-sports executive Bryan Perez has joined Clear Channel Entertainment as executive VP of strategy and business development, based in Houston.

Former pro-sports executive Bryan Perez has joined Clear Channel Entertainment as executive VP of strategy and business development, based in Houston.

Prior to joining CCE, Perez served as executive VP for the National Hockey League team the Dallas Stars.

At CCE, Perez replaces Adam Phillips, who declined to relocate from Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., when the postion was moved to Houston as part of a revamping of the company's business structure last year. CCE maintains a relationship with Phillips on other projects.

Perez reports to CCE chairman/CEO Brian Becker.

Prior to joining the Dallas Stars, Perez held posts at Southwest Sports Group; served as director of business development for Madison Square Garden in New York, where he was instrumental in the acquisition of Radio City Music Hall; and worked as a business-development associate for MTV Networks.
