Deal covers mobile streaming.

BMI has forged a licensing deal with mobZilla. The agreement allows the wireless media company to stream music represented by BMI to cell phones and other mobile devices.

La Jolla, Calif.-based mobZilla has a monthly subscription service that offers unlimited access to streaming audio online and via select mobile phones. The service, which offers personalized genre-specific channels, costs less than $5 per month.

"mobZilla represents the next frontier in mobile music: bringing streaming FM radio quality music programming to the phone," Richard Conlon, BMI VP of business development and marketing, media licensing, says in a statement.
