Seattle-based Loudeye Corp. is powering Poland's first digital-music service, which launched Feb. 28 on Onet.pl, one of the country's leading Internet portals.

The new music service, available at www.plejer.onet.pl, offers users access to Loudeye's European catalog of 500,000 tracks, sourced from the four majors and independents.

Loudeye now operates digital music stores and services in more than 20 countries.

The company reported on March 2 a fourth-quarter net loss that more than tripled to $5.5 million, or seven cents per share, on a year-over-year basis.

Revenues for the Seattle-based digital music services specialist jumped 124% to $6.5 million. Half of the company's revenues for the quarter came from its digital music store.
