Country Music Television has partnered with Wal-Mart Stores to jointly promote country music.

The multifaceted partnership includes in-store promotion with exclusive CMT content, on-air support of Wal-Mart on CMT, cross-promotions at walmart.com and cmt.com and digital media extensions.

The two companies are exploring the possibilities of expanding the promotional program to other MTV Networks-owned music services, including MTV, MTV2, mtvU and VH1.
