Both executives remain based in Singapore. Verrier will oversee strategic and operational aspects of interactive digital media for the network, while Tiong will oversee all marketing functions, including the strategic brand development of MTV and VH1.

"MTV Networks Asia is in a new phase of rapid growth in markets like China, Japan, Korea and Indonesia, especially in new business areas of digital media and consumer products," MTVN Asia Pacific president Frank Brown says in a statement. "These appointments serve to position ourselves for further digital media expansion opportunities in the region."
