Razor & Tie is extending its distribution deal with Sony BMG Music Entertainment to include video products. Razor & Tie's audio titles have been distributed by BMG since 1998.
Razor & Tie's 2005 video line-up will include a series of "Kidz Bop" DVDs, based on the successful audio line; more "For Dummies" titles in conjunction with Wiley, including "Dogs for Dummies"; and exercise titles such as "Abs Diet Workout," created with Rodale Inc.
Ventura Distribution was Razor & Tie's previous video distribution partner.
"The executives at Sony BMG Music Entertainment have been instrumental in helping us grow our company and reach more customers in new and creative ways," Razor & Tie principles Craig Balsam and Cliff Chenfeld say in a statement. "We look forward to continuing our relationship now with our video titles."
