This year's Oscar winner for best animated film, Disney/Pixar's "The Incredibles," is proving to be a home-video home run. Upon its release Tuesday (March 15), the title sold 5 million units on DVD and VHS, according to Buena Vista Home Entertainment.

Though "The Incredibles" did not set a first-day sales record -- that honor is held by Buena Vista's "Finding Nemo," which sold 8 million combined units when it was released in November 2003 -- the superhero film is "on track to be the best-selling DVD and video of 2005," according to the company.

"The Incredibles" is available for $29.99 as a two-disc DVD or on VHS. The DVD version includes an audio commentary, a new animated short, bloopers and outtakes, deleted scenes, alternate openings and a "making of" featurette.
