Legal vet was named prez in 1999.

The Video Software Dealers Assn.'s board of directors has extended president Bo Andersen's contract for three more years.

Andersen joined VSDA in 1995 as VP/general counsel, and rose to senior VP before being named president in 1999.

"Bo has strengthened VSDA by expanding the association's reach into all sectors of the home video industry while supporting our historic base in the independent video retailer segment," chairman Bob Geistman says in a statement.

Andersen previously served as the anti-piracy legal director for the Motion Picture Assn. of America and was an assistant U.S. attorney in Los Angeles.
