Sanctuary Group has added new British band Fightstar to its roster of management clients.

In recent months, Fightstar has ridden a wave of media exposure in the United Kingdom thanks in part to the involvement of frontman Charlie Simpson. Simpson split with Brit Award-winning punk-pop trio Busted earlier this year to focus on the project.

Fightstar's career will be guided by Sanctuary artist manager Craig Jennings and his assistant, Paul Dando. Jennings and Dando's other clients include rock acts Funeral For A Friend and yourcodenameis:milo.

"Fightstar has been something we've been doing in our spare time for quite a while now, and it's great to finally be able to devote 100% of our time to it, with the backing of a manager like Craig and Sanctuary who understand what we want to achieve and how to achieve it," Simpson says in a statement.

A U.K. tour opens May 25 at Wolverhampton's Wulfrun Hall and wraps June 7 at the Electric Ballroom in London.

Sanctuary Artist Management's roster also includes Morrissey, Beyonce, Guns N' Roses, Robert Plant, Nelly, Fleetwood Mac, Destiny's Child, Iron Maiden, Kelis, Slipknot, Manic Street Preachers, D-12, the Who, Xzibit, Jane's Addiction, Eve, Groove Armada, Slayer, Russell Watson and others.
