Acevedo is Loud veteran.

Street Records Corp. has named Gaby Acevedo as president of the SRC Records label. He will oversee creative direction and will manage A&R, promotion, sales and marketing on a worldwide basis.

New York-based SRC was founded in 2003 by former Loud Records chief Steve Rifkind. The company is a joint venture with Universal Motown Records.

Acevedo was formerly with Loud, where he helped to develop such acts as Wu-Tang Clan, Big Pun, Fat Joe, Mobb Deep and Xzibit. In his new role, he will report to Rifkind and will work closely with the Universal Motown staff.

SRC has released hit albums by David Banner and Terror Squad.
