Touma, Maidenberg to oversee S-Curve artist.
Sanctuary Artist Management has signed Joss Stone for worldwide representation.
The 18-year old S-Curve recording artist will be handled by a team comprising former S-Curve/EMI Records executives Amy Touma and Marty Maidenberg, who join Sanctuary Artist Management in New York. Both have been working with Stone for the past four years. Caresse Henry, located in Sanctuary's Los Angeles offices, will also be part of Stone's management team.
The deal was brokered by Sanctuary CEO Merck Mercuriadis. Terms were not disclosed.
Stone's "Mind, Body & Soul" is No. 16 on The Billboard 200 this week. That album and her 2003 debut EP "The Soul Sessions" combined have sold more than 5 million units worldwide, according to EMI. In the U.K., the albums were released on Relentless/Virgin.
