Veteran Nashville music executive Tracy Gershon is leaving Sony Music Nashville, where she serves as senior director of A&R and artist development, to join Warner Bros.' Nashville division as VP of A&R. She will report to Warner Music Group chairman/CEO Tom Whalley with a tentative start date of May 16.

While at Sony, Gershon signed Buddy Jewell, Miranda Lambert and Jace Everett. She also served as a judge on the first season of the USA Networks series "Nashville Star" in 2003.
