RadioPass to deliver dance content online.

RealNetworks has struck a partnership with Carl Cox to present the pioneering British club DJ's radio show as part of an exclusive online offering.

Through the pact, Cox's weekly "Global" house and techno radio program will be housed online within RealNetworks' RadioPass service. Archives of the two-hour show -- now in its second year broadcasting on carlcox.com -- will stream continuously through the subscription service. Each new edition will be uploaded as it is produced.

RealNetworks, which has more than 80 online stations, claims 1,000,000 subscribers worldwide for its online music services, which include RadioPass and Rhapsody.

Cox has long been recognized as one of the leading players in the international dance music scene. In 1995, he issued the groundbreaking two-disc beat-mixed compilation F.A.C.T., which has shifted more than 250,000 units, according to a spokesperson.

In 1999, he established Intec Records after shuttering his label Ultimatum.

Cox is represented by London-based Safehouse Management, which was launched in 2004 by Lynn Cosgrave, founder of the now-defunct Cosmack Management and Trust the DJ businesses. He is booked to DJ at the Heaven nightclub tonight (April 29) in London.
