LOS ANGELES -- New York-based RED Distribution has signed a pair of hip-hop/urban labels to its Red Urban Music Marketing (R.U.M.M.) division. RED, the independent distribution arm of Sony BMG Music Entertainment, will now handle releases from New York-based Mega Media Records and Houston-based Wreckshop Records.

The recently-formed Mega Media will issue the sophomore effort from Lil Cease, followed by an album by Junior Mafia's Klepto on May 3. The latter album will feature appearances from Beanie Siegel, Memphis Bleek, Jadakiss, and Prodigy of Mobb Deep. According to a RED, Mega Media will also issue albums from producer Minnesota, Mos Def and R&B singer Kenny Wray.

Wreckshop Records, which at one point was linked with Priority/Capitol, has issued albums from Fat Pat, Big Moe and D-Gotti. The label has had success working with members of Houston collective Screwed Up Click.
