Journey is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the release of its first album by launching a U.S. tour this summer. The band will play three-hour shows spanning its full career.

At most of the tour stops, fans who buy concert tickets will also receive a free copy of the act's 13th studio album "Generations." The project will then be released worldwide after the tour ends, though a street date has not yet been set.

Journey will kick off the tour June 26 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Irvine, Calif. The trek is currently slated to end Sept. 24 at the Beau Rivage Casino in Biloxi, Miss.

More stops will be added to the current 29-date schedule and most shows will go on sale May 7 or 8. Tickets for the Sept. 7 stop at the Wolf Trap in Vienna, Va. went on sale April 23.

The band has partnered with iloveaccess.com to offer VIP ticket packages to members of the Journey Fan Club. Members will receive special passwords via e-mail prior to ticket on-sales.

Journey is booked by the William Morris Agency.
