Guerra, Syntek play major cities.
Dominican star Juan Luis Guerra is launching a tour of the United States. The first stop on this tour is a 20-year anniversary show in New York’s Madison Square Garden on May 28. Guerra will continue on to play five arena dates in Miami, Chicago, Washington D.C., Orlando and Boston, where he’ll be the first Latin artist to play in the newly opened Agganis Arena.
The tour is sponsored by AOL Latino, which will promote Guerra on its site through photo galleries, music videos and music streams. Guerra’s tour is produced by Ralph Mercado and Felix Cabrera.
Mexican pop star Aleks Syntek is also set for a U.S. tour, fresh from winning two Billboard Latin Music Awards. Syntek will promote his current album, “Mundo Lite” (EMI), with 11 concerts in medium sized venues, including The House of Blues in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Chicago. The shows will take place in May and November.
Syntek will share the stage with fellow Mexican act Moenia. The pop/electronica group is signed to Sony BMG.
The tour is booked by Cardenas Marketing Network.
