Two of Australia's best-selling female singers Delta Goodrem and Kasey Chambers will perform at the Australasian Performing Right Assn. awards, held May 30 at Sydney's Four Seasons Hotel.

Goodrem's "Predictable” is up for most performed Australian work, while two Chambers songs -- "Hollywood" and "Like A River" -- are nominated for most performed country work. Both songs are published by Sony/ATV.

Other nominees lined up to perform at the annual gala include rock band Eskimo Joe, R&B singer Daniel Merriweather; singer Melinda Schneider and upcoming acts Sarah Blasko, Dallas Crane and Evermore.

The ceremony also acknowledges most played works in the dance, jazz and country fields, as well as most performed Australian work in Australia and overseas, and most performed foreign work.

The APRA board decides the songwriter of the year, breakthrough award and the Ted Albert award for outstanding services to Australian music.

Highlights of the ceremony will be broadcast June 5 on cable channel MAX's show "In the Know.”
