Koch Entertainment Distribution has reached exclusive U.S. distribution agreements with a handful of smaller indie labels.

LOS ANGELES -- Koch Entertainment Distribution has reached exclusive U.S. distribution agreements with a handful of smaller indie labels.

The Port Washington, N.Y.-based distributor announced May 17 that it has inked deals with disco label Salsoul Records, new film/DVD company Underground Railroad, indie rock imprint MoRisen, adult contemporary label Canvas Records, recently-formed urban label Shaman Work, pop label Collateral Damage Entertainment and rock label Gotham Records.

For most of these labels, Koch is their first U.S. distributor. Gotham Records was previously with Warner-owned Alternative Distribution Alliance, and MoRisen was formerly linked with Haw River, N.C.-based Redeye Distribution.
