Service allows customers to buy music, ringtones.

McDonald's is conducting a trial of a music kiosk service called Blaze Net in its new flagship restaurant in Oakbrook, Ill., which allows customers to buy music, ringtones, print photos and even surf the Internet. The kiosks, provided by Digital Transaction Machines, operate much like other digital music access points in that customers can find and buy the songs they like and burn them to a CD.

The kiosks are part of a larger McDonald's technology strategy that includes WiFi and video monitors, aimed at a younger audience.
