New Web site, PSAs to provide information.

Launching today (June 1), the Coalition of Entertainment Retail Trade Associations has named June Entertainment Ratings & Labeling Awareness Month.

Through a new Web site (erlam.org) and a public service announcement, CERTA will annually provide information about the motion picture ratings system, the computer and video game rating system and the music labeling system, among others. The PSA will run on in-store monitors at about 5,000 stores this month.

Additionally, CERTA member Video Software Dealers Assoc. is requesting that each of its member retailers name one employee to be its "Ratings Compliance Officer."

CERTA is also comprised of the Digital Media Assoc., the Interactive Entertainment Merchants Assoc., the National Assoc. of Recording Merchandisers and the National Assoc. of Theatre Owners.
