Videogame company Atari said June 7 that CEO Jim Caparro, who joined the company late last year after an illustrious career in the music industry, has resigned.


(The Hollywood Reporter) -- Videogame company Atari said June 7 that CEO Jim Caparro, who joined the company late last year after an illustrious career in the music industry, has resigned.

Caparro has accepted the position of CEO of the Entertainment Distribution division of Glenayre Technologies. That division consists primarily of CD and DVD manufacturer and distributor EDC, a company Caparro founded two years ago then sold to Glenayre.
