Members of Germany's Music Publishers Assn. yesterday (June 17) re-elected Dagmar Sikorski as the trade group's president for a three-year term. Sikorski is owner of Hamburg-based publishing firm Sikorski Musikverlage.

Also during the DMV annual conference in Potsdam, Karl-Heinz
Klempnow was re-elected vice-president and Michael Karnstedt was re-appointed treasurer.

Looking ahead, the DMV plans to focus its efforts closely on trends in copyright law, developing new revenue streams from copyright exploitation, and building relationships with industry partners.

The DMV has approximately 500 members generating total revenue of more than €400 million ($483 million).
