Industry vet Cheryl Broz named VP of the new unit.

EMI CMG (Christian Music Group) is expanding its mainstream promotion and marketing in-house with the launch of EMI Music Reactive, a team aimed at promoting artists to radio and other media outlets. Industry veteran Cheryl Broz has been named VP of the new unit.

Until now, Broz handled most of the group's mainstream promotional push for artists such as Switchfoot, Relient K, Stacie Orrico and MXPX.

Reactive will support releases from Tooth & Nail Records, Gotee Records and EMI CMG Label Group, focusing on rock, modern rock, triple-A, adult top 40 and top 40 radio, as well as other formats. Among the initial records the team will work are Mae's "Suspension", TobyMac's "Gone", and Underoath's "Reinventing Your Exit."

Broz is a 20 year veteran whose experience includes radio programming as well as record promotion with Crave Records, Columbia Records and most recently Arista Records.

Other members of the Reactive team include Los Angeles-based director of national promotion and marketing Jeffrey Naumann; New York-based director of national promotion and marketing Michele Block-Rhoades; North Central regional Craig Diable; Midwest regional Sharon Doheny; Northeast regional Michael Fang; West Coast regional Holly McCormack; Southwest regional Kathie Romero; and Southeast regional Darrin Schnur
