In the latest marriage of music and sports, 50 Cent has partnered with Reebok to help promote its men's cross trainer, GXT II. The Shady/Aftermath/Interscope rapper appears in a new Reebok TV ad, "Street Sports," which debuts June 28 on cable network BET during the 2005 BET Music Awards.

Created by ad agency mcgarrybowen in New York, the spots pair 50 Cent with such Reebok superstars as Philadelphia Eagles All-Pro quarterback Donovan McNabb, Boston Red Sox World Series MVP Manny Ramirez and WBC Junior Middleweight World Boxing champion Ronald "Winky" Wright.

The ad, lensed by music video director Jessy Terrero (who has helmed some of 50 Cent's videos), opens with a shot of 50 Cent playing stickball with Ramirez, followed by the hip-hop star shadow boxing Wright and playing football with McNabb.

In addition to BET, the ad will air on ESPN, MTV, select radio outlets and forthcoming print/online editions of Vibe, XXL and Slam.

The GXT II cross trainer has a suggested retail price of $90.50 and will be in stores July 1.
