Acknowledging after the Fugees' show-opening reunion that "BET had the balls to do this," group member Pras Michel promised that a new album is in the works. "Right now we're in the studio figuring out what our zone is going to be," he said.

That may still take a little while, as Pras noted that the members didn't really talk to each other during rehearsal. Blaming the group's breakup on outsized egos in the wake of fame and fortune, Pras added, "Everything happens for a reason. We're here now and trying to see if we can do it again. It's a healing process and tonight was a big surgery [for us]."

Alicia Keys is currently working on an "unplugged" album, and the singer/songwriter has been tapped to kick off MTV's revival of its acoustic performance series. Wonder previously said the set would include such tracks as "From the Bottom of My Heart," "Positivity" and the title song, a co-write with labelmate India.Arie. The single "So What the Fuss," which features Prince, has been at radio for several months.

Tatyana Ali, who played the youngest daughter on TV's "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," is writing and recording songs for her second album. Her first, 1998's "Kiss the Sky," produced the single "Daydreamin'." Ali recently graduated from Harvard with honors.
