Jose Tillan upped to senior VP.
As part of its ongoing process to expand its talent division, MTV
Networks Latin America has revealed a series of new appointments. Jose Tillan has been promoted to senior VP of music and talent and will continue to be based in Miami. He will report to the department's executive VP, Charlie Singer.
Tillan, who has been instrumental in the development of MTV's "Unplugged" series in Latin America, and in the production of the MTV Latin America video awards, will continue to head MTVN LAtin America's music initiatives.
In addition to Tillan, Julio Muniz was upped to senior director of music and talent, overseeing Latin talent and content. Muniz was previously the liason between MTVN and the entertainment industry in Mexico. He will be based in Miami, reporting to Tillan.
Marc Zimet was named senior director of music, where he will oversee international talent and content. Zimet, who was previously VP of video promotion for Arista, will also report to Tillan.
