Cary Brothers, Imogean Heap headline first date.

A group of singer/songwriters collectively known as The Hotel Cafe, named after the Los Angeles club, are launching their first national tour this September.

Three of the club regulars, which include Cary Brothers, Rachael Yamagata, Butch Walker, Imogean Heap, Tom McRae, Josh Radin and Joe Purdy, will alternate headlining dates of the 27-date tour.

Each show will also include local and up-and-coming artists, and some potential veteran acts. It is expected that the headliners on each stop will play both solo and joint sets.

The tour begins Sept. 7 at the Big Easy in Portland, Maine with Brothers, McRae and Radin.

The six-week trek, booked by Marty Diamond at Little Big Man, ends Oct. 13 at the Casbah in San Diego, Calif. with Brothers, Heap and Walker.
