Company will release 8-12 titles a year.

Jazz/European record label Arkadia is launching a new home video arm called Arkadia DVD. The N.Y.-based company will release eight to 12 music-related DVDs per year.

The first releases will include "Cuba MIA: Portrait of an All-Woman Orchestra," a documentary about the women of the Camerata Romeu, and "Latin Nights," a look at indigenous music of Latin America featuring Tito Puente.

Other titles will be live concert performances from Arkadia artists such as guitarist Nigel Clark, saxophonist/composer Benny Golson and violinist Christian Howes.

Exact release dates have not yet been set.
