Mexican artist's first album due in October.
Mexican crooner Pablo Montero has signed a recording deal with
Univision Records and will release his first album under the label in October.
The pop and ranchera singer saw his popularity soar thanks to leading roles in various Spanish-language soap operas and the use of his hits as themes in several of the shows.
Producers on the new album include Manuel Cazares, Gustavo Arenas and Milton Salcedo for Santander Productions.
Montero, who was previously on BMG U.S. Latin, has recorded six solo albums.
