Label to issue solo debut for Curt Kirkwood.
Los Angeles-based Little Dog Records has inked an exclusive U.S. distribution agreement with Fontana, the independent distribution arm of the Universal Music Group. Little Dog was founded in 1993 by musician/producer Pete Anderson.
The first Little Dog release to go through Fontana will be a solo effort from Meat Puppets member Curt Kirkwood. The album, "Show," will be issued on Sept. 27. Fontana will also be re-launching a number of previously released Little Dog albums, including recent efforts from Moot Davis, Cisco and the Blazers.
Little Dog releases were previously distributed by Orange, Calif.-based Hep Cat Records and Distribution.
