Simon Walker joins from the BBC.
EMI Music has named Simon Walker as senior VP of consumer strategy. Walker joins from the BBC, where he held the post of strategy controller. He will begin his new role on Nov. 1, heading the development of new EMI products to reach more types of consumers.
The company also names two strategy and business development VPs. Kim Lee was previously with Disney's Internet Group and Keston Smith handled European content & media licensing for T-Mobile.
All three executives will be based in London and report to executive VP of strategy and business development Adam Klein.
