The initial dates for the fourth leg of U2's Vertigo tour went on sale over the weekend and the results were predictably successful.

U2 sold out stadiums in Sydney (March 31), Melbourne (March 24), Brisbane (March 21), and Auckland, N.Z., moving 250,000 tickets. Second shows have been added for Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland, to go on sale next week, according to sources close to the tour.

By the time it concludes next April, Vertigo will likely be the top-grossing tour of all time, with not one seat left unsold worldwide. The final leg of the tour begins in February in Mexico.
