Exec of Nat'l Geographic Channel moves to role.

Andrew C. Wilk has been named chief creative officer of content, DualDisc and DVD at Sony BMG Music Entertainment. He reports to Andrew Lack, CEO of Song BMG, and will be based in New York.

Wilk is a producer and director with more than 25 years of experience in television and film production. He most recently served as executive VP of programming, production and news for the National Geographic Channel.

He has produced and/or directed more than 1,000 major network television programs and has directed numerous music projects for television, including concerts and specials featuring such artists as Aerosmith, Ted Nugent, Heart, Barry Manilow, James Taylor, Paul Simon, Aretha Franklin, among others.
